Critical Cases

A team of doctors led by Cardiologist Dr. Akshay Bafna from Kolhapur's Chhatrapati Pramila Raje (CPR) civil hospital performed Angioplasty on a 60 year old mucormycosis patient and this team created history in the field of CPR. Treatments for both heart disease and mucormycosis are considered extremely risky. It is the first incident at a government hospital in the Maharashtra state which performs this difficult surgery.

We Performed first in Intravascular Shock wave Lithotripsy therapy with stenting ( angioplasty)in Higly calcified TVD with Lt mains Bifurcation Coronary artery disease across Kolhapur.
