Hitorical Angioplasty On 60Yr Old Mucormycosis Patient

A team of doctors led by Cardiologist Dr. Akshay Bafna from Kolhapur's Chhatrapati Pramila Raje (CPR) civil hospital performed Angioplasty on a 60 year old mucormycosis patient and this team created history in the field of CPR.Treatments for both heart disease and mucormycosis are considered extremely risky. It is the first incident at a government hospital in the Maharashtra state which performs this difficult surgery.
